WOW Auction House

June 6th, 2008 by valentine

“Auctioneer NPCs can be found in in Orgrimmar, Undercity, and Thunder Bluff for Horde player-created auctions and are a part of the same Auction House. Alliance players will find Auction Houses in Ironforge, Stormwind City, and Darnassus. These Auction Houses are linked together for each faction. Horde and Alliance players cannot buy or sell items to each other unless they use the neutral Auction Houses listed below. Ask a guard for directions. Some non-faction based Auction Houses are located in Tanaris, Everlook, and Booty Bay. These Auctioneer NPCs have the same functionality as the aforementioned faction based Auction Houses, with the additional capability of allowing trade between Horde and Alliance characters. Sellers are able to place items up for auction, set a starting price, set the auction duration, and include a buyout price by speaking with an Auctioneer. All auctions will be initially charged a deposit fee. The deposit fee is refunded upon the successful sale of the item. All successful sales are charged an auction consignment fee which is extracted directly from the final sale price. All fees are higher at neutral auction houses. Buyers are able to search through items up for auction, place bids, and purchase items that include buyout prices by speaking with the Auctioneer. Players are not able to place bids on items being sold by a character on their own account. All items won at an Auction House will be delivered through the in-game mail system. Auction buyers/sellers receive a detailed invoice of the transaction. Browsing Auction Items When you click on the Auctioneer you will see a blank list. You need to first search for what types of items you want to find. There are many possible custom search options including: Name - Name of a specific item you’re looking for. Level Range - Set the minimum and maximum level of the item.

For example, if you’re level 30, try looking for items up to level 30. Useable Items - Click this box if you only want to see items that you can currently use. That way you won’t see Warrior items if you’re a Mage. Filters There are many filters and sub filters you apply to your searches. For example, if you click on Weapon and press the Search button you will receive a list of Weapons for sale. You can dig deeper and select even more specific items using the filters. If you don’t select any filter it will show you a random selection of items. wow gold Weapon Armor Container - Bags Consumable - Things like Potions or Armor Kits Trade Goods - Things like Gems and Metals like Bronze Projectile - Ammo for Guns or Bows Quiver - Bags to store Ammo Recipe - Trade Skill Recipes Reagent - Things used for Trade Skill Recipes Gem - Gems that can be placed in socketed items or used in recipes Miscellaneous - Other things people sell. Sorting The Auction House sorts by buyout price first, then by current price. This should filter all of the items with outlandish buyout prices to the bottom of the list. wow gold Sorting of auction house searches was simplified so you can only sort by one column, and automatic sub-sorts have been created for those columns to be as useful as possible. In addition, sorting is now done on the server so as you page thru results, items will appear to be sorted across the entire results instead of just the page you’re looking at. ” “Three new massively multiplayer online games are throwing down the gauntlet in 2008. mp3 These titles, more than any other game since World of Warcraft’s 2004 release, stand an excellent chance of dethroning Blizzard Entertainment’s mighty MMO as the king of an extremely lucrative market.

All three of the new games — Age of Conan, Pirates of the Burning Sea and Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning — have their strengths. But each brings something fresh to the rapidly growing MMO genre, which has attracted millions of gamers, according to unofficial estimates, and now includes everything from Tabula Rasa’s sci-fi escapism to the Webkinz virtual world for children. Here’s a sneak peek at what the new games offer: Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures Screenshot: Courtesy of FuncomAge of Conan: Hyborian Adventures Release date: March 25 Set in the world of Robert E. wow gold Howard’s Cimmerian novels (the universe of 1982’s Arnold Schwarzenegger movie, Conan the Barbarian), Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures brings with it almost 80 years of fiction for developer Funcom to draw upon for its backstory. In order to appease the built-in fan base that this wealth of lore has developed, Funcom is focusing heavily on the title’s combat system. While previous MMOs allowed players to click a few buttons and watch actions unfold, Age of Conan employs a “”real combat”" system that allows players to not only control the direction of their attacks, but also focus on various body parts in real time. buy wow gold As a result, the game will not only stick close to its source material’s penchant for almost cartoonish ultraviolence, it also bucks the something-for-everyone trend started by World of Warcraft. By foregoing the family-friendly angle, Funcom is risking the loss of a large section of the player base, but the general feeling among longtime online gamers — particularly the player-versus-player demographic — is that Age of Conan is poised to be the Halo of the massively multiplayer genre. In a period when these games are just gaining mass market appeal, this title brings something for the adults to enjoy in an adult setting. Pirates of the Burning Sea Screenshot: Courtesy of Flying Lab SoftwarePirates of the Burning Sea Release date: Jan. wow gold 22 If the success of Johnny Depp’s turn for the scurrilous in the Pirates of the Caribbean film trilogy has proven anything, it’s that people are enamored with adventure on the high seas. World Of Warcraft Walk Through

June 6th, 2008 by valentine

“If you’re looking for a good World of Warcraft guide to help you through the many levels of play, you might want to also look through some of the numerous web pages available on the World of Warcraft walk through. These are more or less the same thing as they both deal with detailed guides to how you can wind your way through the World of Warcraft game. These are not cheats though so you have nothing to worry about on that score. The World of Warcraft walk through and the guides which you will find are merely there to help you navigate a clearer course through the sometimes murky waters of the World of Warcraft. Of course there’s no hard and fast rule that says you have to use the information you will find on a World of Warcraft walk through. You can instead proceed through the game at your own pace and use the World of Warcraft walk through as a last resort. This can help you greatly because when you’re stuck in a section with no clue as to where to go next or what to do next, going through a World of Warcraft walk through can give you relief. The people who would normally compile a walk through have already gone through the game of World of Warcraft and have experienced many a quest and battle. They have gone through the same things that you now find yourself going through, and they have also probably come to the same impasse that you yourself now face. To that extent you could try using the World of Warcraft walk through, or you could keep trying to get through by yourself until you find a way around your problem. Another good thing to come about from the World of Warcraft walk through is that a rank beginner will be able to find help from a source that is willing to yield up its secrets.

Most World of Warcraft walk through sites will give their information for free. If by chance you come across a site which asks for a fee for giving you the information in their World of Warcraft walk through, you might want to consider passing it by and finding a walk through that is completely free, no strings attached. You will also find that if you follow some of the advice to be found in the World of Warcraft walk through that you will be leveling up faster and in a completely legitimate manner as well. It just doesn’t get any better than that! Click Here - To Visit wowgamersguides for World Of Warcraft Gamers Guide Which Includes Audio For Use On Ipod And Mp3 Players ” “A rogue is one of the fastest classes in World of Warcraft for leveling. If you are a first timer WOW player, the rogue is a great choice because of their abilities to level and grind faster than the other classes. Read on to discover more fascinating information about the rogue class and uncover some great leveling tips. One of the most important abilities that a rogue possesses is stealth. This one ability will keep you from dying many times. Use it to protect yourself from random 60’s who will run by or from mobs when you are away from your keyboard. A rogue is easily geared up because of the variety of daggers, swords and maces that are dropped all over the place, especially on a dedicated server. Choose the weapon that you like the best. Make sure your weapon is consistent in killing and protecting yourself from higher level mobs. Armor is generally easy to come by as a rogue. There is an abundance of leather armor drops during battle and you can also buy it at the auction houses.

wow gold Monkey gear is an easy choice for leveling. Other craftable pieces of leather armor are great choices also. The best gear for leveling is + critical, agility and stamina. wow gold Just remember that rogue class is a great beginner class for leveling fast, but it can be an overpopulated class on most servers. One of the best ways to level is to complete quests. The details of what quests you should do are too many to go into for this short article. But there are basics that you should follow if you are just starting out. wow power leveling If you are level 1-20, you should go through the starting area and quest until you are ready for the zone next door. Then quest there for a while and then move on. Keep doing this until you raise your level. mp3 players If you are on the Alliance side, do the Deadmines when you hit level 18. On the Horde side, do the Ragefire Chasm when you hit level 14 and move on to the Wailing Caverns at level 18. This is just for starters. If you want to learn more about where to go to keep leveling to the higher levels there are a few awesome guides that you can purchase online and download them immediately. wow gold For Alliance, the best is the Team iDemise Leveling Guide and for Horde, you can’t go wrong with Joana’s Horde Leveling guide. You can also do a Google search and get plenty of helpful hints and tips. But it can be more time consuming to do a search than to just buy a guide where all of your information is in one place. So there you have some basic information on rogue leveling tips. Just remember, World of Warcraft is the biggest multi player role playing game available today. wow gold Good luck and happy gaming! ” RELATED LINKS:http://wowhunterzone.canalblog.com/

Wrath of the Lich King

June 6th, 2008 by valentine

“From his early days as an EverQuest commentator to the lofty heights of lead designer on World of Warcraft, Jeff Kaplan’s rise to power has been meteoric. In the flesh he’s polite, kindly spoken and passionate, often sporting - as most of Blizzard seem to - own-brand shirts with brightly coloured orcs on them. Our leading authority on sexy elves cornered him recently and demanded details of our imminent journey into Northrend - and Jeff’s promises were exciting to say the least… On Geography… Jeff Kaplan: When people heard the expansion was going to be set in Northrend, they freaked out, saying ‘No, I can’t go to a continent that’s all snow!’ Just visually alone, we’ve made sure that all the zones are not full of ice. For example, the Howling Fjord is completely green, and it’s modelled after the Redwood Forest on the Pacific north-west. There’s another zone called the Borean Tundra that has typical autumn colours, and we’re really going out of our way to make sure the zones are visually distinct. Another cool part of Northrend is the big PvP zone. It’s about the size of Westfall, and will be all-PvP - in no way, shape or form will we support PvE players in it. It’ll be optional, but it’ll be completely non-instanced, have multiple objectives, siege weapons, and destructible buildings. On Grand Entrances… Kaplan: We absolutely need to make the entry to Northrend epic. I mean, we originally had the entry to Burning Crusade’s Dark Portal as a bunch of cohorts walking around, and people reacted badly. This really hammered home the fact that we needed to raise expectations on entering the expansions. With the four points of entry (two for each side) we’ve gone out of our way to make them cool. With the Alliance you go to the Howling Fjord - you come down through the big Fjord walls, and there’s big battle going on around you.

For the Horde, in Howling Fjord, you enter an area with brand new Forsaken architecture. Traditionally they have wrecked human buildings, but we’ve built these awesome new Forsaken buildings, with their own distinct style that comes from the Undercity - that kind of Tim Burton feel. They’re landing an invasion for fighting the Alliance, and instantly you can see the battle. If you go to the other side, to the Borean Tundra, the Alliance comes into a giant Alliance stronghold, with a brand new leader that we’re building up - and a massive Alliance steam ship. wow gold They’re launching an expeditionary force to get to Icecrown and defeat Arthas, but the Horde are coming into the Warsong Fortress, ruled by Garrosh, son of Grom Hellscream (from Warcraft III) - so instantly there’s a major Horde character. Not only that, but the Warsong base is absolutely huge and epic. We’ve built this giant, epic base specifically for this guy, and the Horde dock in the base when they start. wow gold The Horde will have this moment where they are just instantly in awe. On High Levels… Kaplan: We feel that we now have an overwhelming majority of players who have played through the content to the end. It’s not even about the casual/hardcore thing, it’s more about addressing an issue that exists among max-level players. We felt we could deliver on content towards the end of the game, and that players between level 30 and 40 already have so much to do in the game that they haven’t run out of content yet. These medium-level players are not really hungry for the new features that Wrath of the Lich King brings. wow It’s really about satisfying the players who have reached max level, whether they solo or whether they PvP, whether they raid or role-play.

If they’re at max level they’re all saying, ‘I want more, what are you guys doing for us. ‘ On the Big Bad… Kaplan: We’re giving all players going into the expansion interaction with Arthas. wow gold We were too protective of Illidan [the arch villain in The Burning Crusade] making sure we didn’t waste the opportunity, so now you’re interacting with him straight away. You’re talking to him, having these moments with him, so you don’t have to be a raider to see him. We’re also having a Caverns of Time mission - The Culling from Warcraft III - so that you can go back and play alongside Arthas when he was shiny and good, when you’re burning Stratholme. ” “Karazhan Guide: The included guide to Karazhan provides players with a complete walk-through of the attunement process, trash mobs, encounters like the Opera and Chess events, as well as all bosses from Netherspite, Prince Malchezaaar to Nightbane including the optional Terestian Illhoof. mp3 player Zul’Aman Guide: This Zul’Aman how-to guide offers you a chance to roll on the coveted bear mount by helping you beat the four animal bosses, Nalorakk, Akil’zon, Jan’alai and Halazzi in the right kill order before the timed event ends. Each boss from the first to the last animal lord Zul’jin is covered with a thorough skill analysis and tactics to maintain your advantage. Gruul’s Lair Guide: The guide to High King Maulgar and Gruul provides relevant information on the instance, individual encounters and trash mobs, while detailing strategies for these fights to prevent you from committing fatal errors. wow gold Magtheridon’s Lair Guide: The Magtheridon encounter is explained in detail, phase-by-phase, giving players the necessary knowledge and strategies to clear the instance without wiping. The WoW Raiding Guide prepares raid leaders and members for the challenges ahead. Save valuable time learning and mastering instances with detailed, proven and tested strategics. The raid guide offers detailed run-downs for the following instances: ” “So by now most gamers (and actually most of the world) are acquainted with World of Warcraft and the subsequent expansion Burning Crusade. The game has about 9 million subscribers if Blizzard’s ads are to be believed. That’s the entire population of North Carolina. Back in November 2007, Blizzard released patch 2.3 for the game, completely changing it. The biggest adjustment that this patch brought was that it made it easier to advance from levels 20 to 60. Now to those few who have never experienced the game for one reason or another, leveling would take a person months of play and that’s if the person spent hours in the game on a daily basis. wow gold I quit the game a year ago because of this tedious task. Like most of the people who play now, I was sinking time into the game and it felt like work. With this new patch, I found myself making a new character and starting up again. wow gold And here I am, back in the saddle. I really think that Blizzard is an evil company, why else release a patch that makes the game attractive again just in time for people’s holiday break. I’m sure that many people found themselves sucked into their old addiction with the release of this patch. cheap wow gold Especially because they not only had the time but the incentive to play. It is quite clear what Blizzard wants to do. They want to make the game more accessible before the release of their second expansion, Wrath of the Lich King.

wow gold It’s a smart move. No one would want to spend time trying to level another character to level 70, the current level cap, just to get the new expansion and realize that they have to go through another 10 levels. Some of my fellow players, especially those who have been playing the game religiously since 2004, hate the fact that it is now easier to level. mp3 players In a way I can sympathize, they have people jumping into the game progressing at a rate they only dreamed of a year ago. But at the same time I say suck it up. All the complaining and whining (and calling people noobs) isn’t going to turn back time. wow gold Blizzard cares about money, and that’s pretty much it. An easier game equals more players which in turn equals more money pouring into Blizzard’s coffers. RELATED LINKS:http://wowgoldmonster.blogstream.com/

Fishing Equipment

June 6th, 2008 by valentine

“One new fishing pole has been added - Seth’s Graphite Fishing Pole. The pole gives a +20 bonus to fishing, but requires 200 fishing skill. It also has a huge (+52) stamina bonus, which should help fishing folk survive a few seconds longer. The pole has the same bonus as the Big Iron Fishing Pole, but is easier to gain at high level. Seth’s pole is a quest reward for Rather Be Fishin’ from Seth in refuge area of Shattrath City. The Pristine Shimmerscale Eels required for the quest can’t be caught - they are dropped by the Shimmerscale Eels in Silmyr Lake. The pole should be useful for Alliance characters, who cannot gain the +25 bonus Nat Pagle’s Extreme Angler FC-5000. Outland Open-Water Fishing The following table lists fish caught in open water. Outland has no sea - only inland water. Outland Fish Fish Where to Catch Use (Food) Barbed Gill Trout Terokkar Forest, Nagrand, Netherstorm, Shadowmoon Valley, Zangarmarsh. Blackened Trout. Felblood Snapper Hellfire Peninsula (Pools of Aggonar), Nagrand (Forge Camp: Hate), Shadowmoon Valley (”"water”" and lava). Unknown. Figluster’s Mudfish Nagrand, Netherstorm. Grilled Mudfish. Golden Darter Terokkar Forest. Golden Fish Sticks. Icefin Bluefish Nagrand, Netherstorm. Poached Bluefish. Spotted Feltail Terokkar Forest, Zangarmarsh. Feltail Delight. Zangarian Sporefish Zangarmarsh. Blackened Sporefish. Furious Crawdad cannot be caught in open water, only Highland Mixed Schools - see the Catching Furious Crawdad and Mr. Pinchy topic. In addition to fish, other items are rarely caught from open-water fishing: Curious Crate - boxes that contain 2-6 Knothide Leather Scraps, 1-3 Netherweave Cloth, or 1-3 Fel Iron Ore. Goldenscale Vendorfish - they sell to vendors for 6 gold. wow gold Inscribed Scrollcase - these contain 1-3 level 60 scrolls. Mote of Water (1-2) - ten motes can be converted to one Primal Water by clicking on the stack. Primal Water cannot be converted back to motes.

wow gold Off-hand fish - Enormous Barbed Gil Trout (sic) and Huge Spotted Feltail. Open Water Catch Rates I have sampled catches across five locations, (one for each zone/skill combination). Each location was fished for at least two hours: Nagrand, East of Halaa. buy wow gold Nagrand, Lake Sunspring. Terrokar Forest, Silmyr Lake. Zangarmarsh, Marshlight Lake. wow gold Zangarmarsh, Umbrafen Lake. I found no significant variation between places within the same zone. I also fished across a range of time periods, but found no significant variation by time. mp3 players I cannot be certain that these variations do not exist, but if they do exist they are minor (a few percent difference) or use entirely unexpected patterns. The average catch rate per minute was 2.1, which is lower than the 2.5 previously recorded in Azeroth. I subsequently compared the average catch rate over an hour of continuous fishing in Stormwind and Zangarmarsh, and both were the same at 2.4 catches per minute. The table below shows the percentage of all catches in each zone for each fish type. Outland Open Water Catch Rates Zone Catches Barbed Gill Trout Golden Darter Figluster’s Mudfish Icefin Bluefish Spotted Feltail Zangarian Sporefish Other Nagrand 519 56% - 21% 22% - - 1% Terrokar Forest 381 64% 22% - - 15% - 0% Zangarmarsh 782 71% - - - 15% 13% 1% Barbed Gill Trout offer no buff when cooked, so are of little use. However, they are the majority of all fish caught. wow gold So how can you catch the fish you want more than about 20% of the time. The answer is, of course, pools. Outland Pool Fishing Pools of fish called schools are common in Outland. They behave in the same way as pools in Azeroth - after catching 2-8 fish, each pool disappears. Gaining Honor

June 6th, 2008 by valentine

“The Honor System rewards players for participating in player vs. player combat. By defeating other players and achieving PvP objectives, players earn Honor Points which they can use to purchase a wide array of rewards. There are four sources of Honor: Honorable Kills Killing racial leaders Achieving Battlegrounds objectives Achieving World PvP objectives Honorable Kills You receive Honorable Kills for defeating enemy players in battle, provided they are within an acceptable level range of your character’s level. Each Honorable Kill will net you a reward of Honor Points. The amount of Honor you receive scales similarly to receiving experience from a monster. There are several factors influencing the Honor value of such a kill: Your victim’s level: To receive honor, you must not significantly outlevel your opponent. The name of your opponent will display in colored text showing their level relative to yours, with the same grey to red scheme that applies to monsters. Killing a “”grey”" player gives no Honor, while a “”red”" player is substantially higher level that yours. To receive honor you should focus on players around your own level (green, yellow, and orange). Your own level: The higher level you are, the more honor you receive for honorable kills of same-level opponents. A level 70 character killing another level 70 character gains more Honor than a level 40 character killing another level 40 character. Subsequent kills: Killing the same character multiple times within 24 hours is subject to diminishing honor returns. Each subsequent kill after the initial kill yields 10% less honor, until the reward eventually reaches zero. Note that the Honor calculations that appear in-game do not take these diminishing returns into account. Solo or group: Members of a group or raid will share Honor gains from kills in the same way as XP. However, the raid penalty on XP does not apply to Honor.

Lower level members will get a smaller portion of the Honor. The diminishing returns for honor kills on the same enemy still apply while in a group or raid. In addition, group members who are too far away from the site of the kill will not receive a cut of the honor, much like the similar rule for earning XP. Contribution: You must contribute to the honorable kill to receive honor. Contribution includes damaging the enemy, but also includes crowd control, and healing those in battle with that enemy. Being present: You need to be alive and in the proximity of the kill at the time of the kill to get your share of the Honor. ” “You receive Honorable Kills for defeating enemy players in battle, provided they are within an acceptable level range of your character’s level. wow gold Each Honorable Kill will net you a reward of Honor Points.
